Portgas D. Ace is the 2nd divison commander of the Whitebeard Pirates and formerly captain of the spade pirates.
His last known bounty was of 550,000,000 berries.

Ace is very caring for his fellow crewmembers and family.
He's short tempered (espcially as a child) and ambitious.
Background[]
Ace is the son of the former king of pirates Gol. D roger and Portgas D. from south blue who carried him for 20 months as to not get caught by the world government for carrying the pirate kings child. While on death row Roger entrusted Vice admiral of the navy Moneky D. Garp with his yet to be born son.
when ace was born his mother died almost immeadiately after. when Ace turned 7 Garp then left Ace with the mountain theives of goa near trash mountain in east blue. Ace would then meet a boy named sabo and they'd go around town and trash mountain and look for treasure to save up to a pirate ship as they both wanted to become pirates and be "free". They would also take out the animals nearby such as corodiles and bears etc.
ace set sail when he was 17 after taking his mother's name "Portgas" instead of "gol" as to not get cursed by the people of the sea who despised his father Gol D. Roger.
